As its International Quilting Weekend, TQS is allowing free access to their shows - from 20th to 22nd March, whoo hoo... Yesterday I watched Laura Fraga, Kim Diehl,Carolyn Konig, Cheryl See,and Vallerie White. I am so inspired and I have learnt so much. My SAL blocks are done. Now I have to trim the blocks and sew them together.
So guess what I'll be doing this weekend, oh yes!! ...go HERE and enjoy!

Your blocks are just beautiful! I would love to see the finished product. I think it will look stunning. Enjoy the TQS!
ReplyDeleteYour block look wonderful. This will be a lovely quilt :)
ReplyDeleteHello Fleurette
ReplyDeleteyour blocks look lovely, but I would like to ask you something else. My daughter has just whatsApp me to say that she has bought me a Fairy Needle Embroidery machine at the Ry-Maar-In yardsale in Linden, Johannesburg. I see that you have previously blogged about one and that people responded saying they have instructions. Did you ever get any? I am just interested in seeing how it works!
I am in Weltevreden Park, Roodepoort.

Hi Elsa, unfortunately I did not get a copy. The lady who offered it to me is listed as a " no reply blogger" so I couldnt reply. I did however mention it in the comments section of that post. You are also listed as a no reply blogger so I am responding here. If you do happen to find instructions I would love to have a copy please.
DeleteHello
ReplyDeleteI have no idea what makes one a no reply blogger and what not! But apart from sewing and machine embroidery, I also started quilting last year, so I will follow your blog, and let you know if I find any instructions, or puzzle it out.
Regards Elsa
