Now I have two!
I have a knitting bag permanently next to my chair and while watching TV every night I knit very simple baby blankets using big needles so the blankets are soft. These are for aids babies in our rural hospitals and so I have 5 ready to go.
I'm also working on the quilt in the background, using some of the circles that I posted about here
Books I've read during jan/feb.
Secrets of the people whisperer -Perry Wood
The Gathering - Anne Enright
The clothes on their backs - Linda Grant
The matchmaker of perigord - Julia Stuart
The book of destiny 2012 - Carlos Barrios
The rice mother - Rani Manicka
Nope, not much motivation when it's too hot - OR too cold, lol - iced lollies sound good though! Your pincushions are really darling, and so are the blankets. Stay cool!
ReplyDeleteIt is funny how the heat can zap all of your energy, but I love those soft baby blankets. The little pincushions are adorable too.
ReplyDeletecute pincushions!!
ReplyDeleteOOH, such a cute pincushion! The blankets look so soft and comfy - great work. It's too hot and humid here too, longing for cooler days - and hikes!

ReplyDeleteI know how you feel! When it is too hot to do anything, why would you like to sit under a quilt and work on it???
ReplyDeleteThose pincushions are very sweet. They look adorable!
Great work on making blanckets for the people at the hospital. It is always wonderful to know there are still people that cares for other people.
